Description
Grey oysterling are a fascinating group of fungi known for their small, often bluish-grey fruiting bodies that resemble tiny oyster mushrooms. Typically found on decaying wood, they play an important role in forest ecosystems by helping to break down dead trees and recycle nutrients back into the soil. Characteristic of their group, they often grow in a resupinate form, meaning they spread flat against the surface they inhabit, creating a crust-like appearance.
