Description
Gilled fungi form a diverse group of fungi known for their iconic umbrella-shaped caps and gills underneath. These gills produce spores, which help in their reproduction. Some species have been known to glow in the dark through bioluminescence, while others form intricate and massive underground networks that play a crucial role in soil health. They can be found in a variety of habitats, from woodlands to grassy fields.
