General Info
Edibility
Trooping funnel is edible, but only when young. Mature mushrooms lose their pleasant taste and develop leathery flesh. It is recommended to remove the stipes before eating as they are very tough. Also, ensure a positive identification before consuming, as this mushroom looks similar to poisonous species, such as the Livid Pinkgill.
