Description
Clavulina is a fascinating group of fungi known for its intricate and often branched coral-like structures. These fungi typically grow on the forest floor amidst leaf litter and are most commonly found in temperate and tropical regions. Clavulina plays an important ecological role by helping to decompose organic matter and recycle nutrients back into the soil, which supports plant growth. Some species within this group also form beneficial associations with trees, aiding in nutrient exchange.
