Description

Woldmaria is a small group of fungi known for their unique cup-like structures that grow on wood and decaying logs. They are most commonly found in temperate forests. One interesting aspect of woldmaria is its relationship with decomposing organic matter, playing a crucial role in breaking down dead wood and recycling nutrients back into the ecosystem.
