Description
Rosegills are fascinating fungi known for having a distinctive cup-like structure, called a volva, at the base of their stem. This unique feature helps distinguish them from other fungi. They are commonly found growing on decaying wood, but some species also thrive in rich soil. One captivating trait of rosegills is their delicate, pinkish gills, which add a charming touch to their appearance.
