Description

Usnocetraria is a lichen that thrives in cold, mountainous regions. It forms symbiotic relationships between fungi and algae, allowing it to survive in harsh conditions where many plants cannot. They often grow on rocks and trees, making them a notable feature in alpine landscapes.
