Description
Members of the pulveroboletus group are often recognized by their powdery caps, which can range in color from bright yellow to brown. They exhibit a unique characteristic where their flesh may stain blue when cut or bruised, indicating an interesting chemical reaction. Many species in this group form mutualistic relationships with trees, helping them absorb nutrients from the soil. Pulveroboletus are commonly found in forests around the world, especially in temperate and tropical regions.
