Description
Phragmidiaceae is a family of rust fungi that parasitize and draw nutrients from living plants, causing disease. You can tell when a plant has been colonized by a rust fungus by the telltale rust-like markings on the leaves and stems. With the members of this family, these markings are typically orange or black.
