Description
Phaeocalicium lichen is a group of tiny fungi that grow on woody plants. They form small, pin-like structures with dark-colored heads. These fungi are often found on the twigs and branches of trees, particularly alders. Their minute size makes them challenging to spot without careful observation. Some species in this group have a preference for specific host plants.
