Description

Letharia is a fascinating group of lichens known for their vibrant, neon-like greenish-yellow hues. These lichens often grow on conifer trees in mountainous regions. Letharia is easy to spot due to its striking color and unique branching pattern, resembling tiny trees or coral. The lichens are highly sensitive to air pollution and are often used as environmental indicators.
