Description
Dust lichens is a captivating group of lichens known for their powdery, granular appearance. These lichens typically grow on a variety of substrates, including rocks, soil, tree bark, and even man-made surfaces like concrete. A notable feature of dust lichens species is their lack of a distinct thallus structure, instead forming loose, powdery patches that can be greenish, gray, or whitish in color.
