Description
Lentinellus is a group of fungi known for its unique sawtooth-edged gills, which can give the underside of the mushrooms a distinctive appearance. They often grow on decaying wood, contributing to forest decomposition and nutrient recycling. Their caps can be quite rigid and are usually adorned with small scales.
