Description

Thornbush lichens is a lichen group found in arctic and alpine regions. It forms small, cushion-like growths on rocks and soil. The lichen's structure is characterized by its compact, densely branched thallus. Thornbush lichens is well-adapted to harsh, cold environments and can withstand extreme temperatures and strong winds. Some species in this group have been used in traditional medicine by indigenous peoples.
