Description

Entonaema are fascinating organisms known for their unique fruiting bodies that resemble grape clusters or beads. These formations can be found attached to fallen wood and leaf litter in tropical regions. They exhibit a curious behavior where their interior structures transform into a slimy mass during certain stages of development. These organisms play an important role in the ecosystem by breaking down dead plant material, promoting nutrient cycling.
