Description

Cordyceps are fascinating fungi known for their unique lifecycle. They primarily infect insects, taking over their bodies to eventually grow out of them. This group isn't just a parasite; it has been explored for its potential medicinal benefits. Some species of cordyceps can even influence the behavior of their hosts, creating what's often called 'zombie insects.'
