Description
Domecaps are a group of fascinating fungi known for their dome-shaped caps and sturdy stems, often thriving in grassy areas like lawns and meadows. Most species within this group fruit in spring and early summer, a time when many other mushrooms are less abundant. They play an important ecological role by breaking down organic matter and enriching the soil. Some species emit a pleasant aroma, making them easily recognizable in the wild.
