Description

Glutinoglossum er fascinerende sopper kjent for sitt unike, klebrige utseende. De vokser vanligvis i gressområder og enger, ofte om høsten. Disse soppene produserer mørke, slanke, tungeformede fruktlegemer dekket med et gelatinøst lag, som gir dem et særegent, glinsende utseende. Noen arter innen denne gruppen har et spesielt forhold til mose, og finnes ofte vokse blant eller på dem, noe som gir deres habitatpreferanser et nysgjerrig preg.
