Geoglossaceae er en familie av sopp i ordenen Geoglossales, klasse Geoglossomycetes. Disse fungiene, bredt kjent som geoglossaceae, har terrestriske ascocarper som vanligvis er små, mørke og klubbeformede med en høyde på 0,8 til 3 tommer. Ascosporene er vanligvis lysebrune til mørkebrune og ofte multiseperte. Andre arter av sopp har blitt kjent for å parasitere ascocarper.
