Cap 3-14 cm across, hemispheric to convex when young, becoming broadly convex or nearly flat; shiny, yellow-brown; surface bald; with a white partial veil at the margin. Flesh soft, white. Odour and taste not distinctive.
Gills
Gills free to adnexed, whitish to pale gray, becoming purplish gray to purple-black in age, close, with whitish edges.
