Cap 5-10 cm across, first hemispherical in shape before flattening out with maturity; white to grayish white, sometimes becoming yellowish with age; surface dry, smooth and fibrillose to a little scaly.
Flesh
Flesh thick, white, turns dingy reddish brown when cut. Taste sweet and delicious.
