Description
Unguiculariopsis is a group of tiny fungi that grow on other fungi or lichens. They are parasites, deriving nutrients from their hosts. Their fruiting bodies are cup-shaped and often have hair-like structures on the outside. Some species in this group are highly specialized, only growing on specific host species. Unguiculariopsis can be found in various parts of the world, including Europe and North America.
