Description
Staheliomyces mushrooms are a diverse family of fungi which arguably contain some of the strangest-looking species in the world. They all start out as ovular, but later take on odd forms as they mature. As the name suggests, many emit a foul odor to attract flies and other insects to carry away their spores.
