Sclerophora lichen is a group of small, pin-like lichens found on tree bark. They have a distinctive appearance with a stalked fruit body topped by a powdery mass of spores. These lichens are often indicators of old-growth forests and are sensitive to air pollution. Some species in this group have colorful heads, ranging from pink to yellow.
