Description
The fungi in the rhizocarpaceae family are all very similar, taking the form of lichens that grow mainly on rocks or trees in mutually beneficial communities with algae or bacteria. The colors of individual species can be white, green, yellow, or brown, but all have a similar flat crusty appearance.
