Description

Pseudographis is a rare group of fungi found on decaying wood in temperate forests. These organisms form small, black, elongated fruiting bodies that resemble tiny lines or scribbles on the wood surface. They are typically associated with old-growth forests and can be indicators of forest health and continuity. Some species within this group have been observed to have a preference for specific tree hosts.
