Description
Stipitate hydnoid fungi are fascinating fungi known for their unique tooth-like structures on the underside of their caps. They thrive in wooded areas, often forming symbiotic relationships with tree roots. Distinctive for their earthy, aromatic scent, these fungi vary in color from pale to dark. Some species within this group can produce strikingly beautiful blue or green stains in their surroundings when damaged.
