Description

Nectriopsis is a group of tiny fungi that grow on other fungi, lichens, or decaying plant matter. They are known for their small, brightly colored fruiting bodies, often in shades of red, orange, or yellow. Some species in this group have been found to produce compounds with potential medicinal properties. Nectriopsis plays a role in decomposition processes in various ecosystems.
