Description

Littlelobed lichen is a lichen group found in cold, mountainous regions. It forms small, dark brown rosettes on rocks and soil. Known for its ability to withstand harsh alpine conditions, littlelobed lichen has a unique structure with thick, finger-like lobes. Some species in this group are associated with nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria, contributing to nutrient cycling in extreme environments.
