Description

Lopharia is a group of wood-decay fungi known for their resupinate fruit bodies, which form thin, crust-like layers on dead wood. They play a crucial role in decomposing fallen trees and branches in forests. Some species within this group have a distinctive velvety or hairy surface texture.
