Description
Lachnella are tiny fungi that often grow on decaying wood. They are distinct for their delicate, hair-like structures, appearing like miniature tufts or cotton balls. These fungi are mostly white and can be spotted in damp environments. Lachnella play an important role in breaking down dead plant material, helping recycle nutrients back into the ecosystem. Their small size makes them an interesting find for those exploring forest floors.
