The sweetly-scented caps of the greenfoot fibrecap (Inocybe calamistrata) erupt uniquely from areas of the forest floor lacking many nutrients. It can be seen throughout most of Europe and sporadically in North America. They are extremely toxic, as is much of the Inocybe family of mushrooms.
