Description

Haddowia is a rare genus of fungi found in tropical regions. It grows on decaying wood in rainforests. The fruiting bodies of haddowia are small, brown, and cup-shaped. They have a unique structure with a specialized tissue called a columella. Haddowia is known for its limited distribution and has been reported mainly from Southeast Asia and parts of Africa.
