Description

Flabellophora is a group of wood-decaying fungi found in tropical and subtropical regions. They form fan-shaped or semicircular fruiting bodies that grow in overlapping clusters on dead wood. The caps are often brightly colored, ranging from orange to reddish-brown. Some species in this group have a tough, leathery texture and can persist on wood for extended periods.
