Description

Fibroporia is a wood-decaying fungus group known for causing brown rot in timber. These fungi break down cellulose and hemicellulose, leaving behind a brown, crumbly residue. They often form thin, sheet-like fruiting bodies that are white to cream-colored and have a fibrous texture.
