Description

Dictyocatenulata is a rare group of fungi found in tropical and subtropical regions. They form distinctive chain-like structures on decaying plant material. These fungi have unique spore-producing structures that resemble nets or baskets. Their role in decomposition processes in warm, humid environments is still being studied by mycologists.
