Description

Cudonia are small, club-shaped fungi found in temperate forests. They typically grow on decaying plant matter, such as fallen leaves or needles. These fungi have a distinctive appearance with a smooth, rounded cap atop a slender stem. Some species of cudonia can change color when dried, turning from pale shades to darker hues.
