Description
Choiromyces are underground fungi that form large, potato-like fruiting bodies. They grow in symbiosis with tree roots, particularly oaks and beeches. Their outer surface is light-colored and warty, while the interior is marbled with intricate patterns. Some species of choiromyces are highly prized for their aromatic qualities.
