Description
Chanterelle is a family of fungi that contains many well-known edible species like the chanterelle itself (Cantharellus cibarius), the trumpet chanterelle (Craterellus tubaeformis) and the horn of plenty (Craterellus cornucopioides). Some of these edible species are farmed. Chanterelle belong to a group of fungi that form symbiotic relationships with plant roots.
