Description

Calycina are small cup-shaped fungi found on decaying plant material. They have smooth, waxy surfaces and come in various colors like white, yellow, or pink. Some species have tiny hairs on their outer surface. Calycina play a role in decomposition processes in forest ecosystems. They are often discovered on fallen branches or dead herbaceous stems.
