Description
Acarosporales is a group primarily consisting of lichens. They are often found in harsh, rocky environments where many other organisms struggle to survive. These lichens typically form crust-like or granular structures on rocks. Remarkably, they have a high resistance to extreme conditions such as drought and intense sunlight, making them well-adapted to survive in desert-like areas. Some species within this group can even survive for extended periods without water.
