Description

Neofavolus er små konsollsopper som vanligvis finnes på råtnende treverk i skogen. De har et karakteristisk vifteformet utseende med en porøs underside, ofte med en krem- eller lys oransje farge. Disse soppene spiller en viktig rolle i nedbrytningen av treverk, og bidrar til næringssirkuleringen i skogens økosystemer. Neofavolus er kjent for sin motstandsdyktighet, i stand til å overleve i ulike miljøforhold, noe som gjør dem til et fascinerende studieobjekt for mykologer.
