Description

Erythricium er en gruppe sopp kjent for å danne tynne, rosa-røde skorper på dødt tre. De spiller en viktig rolle i nedbrytningen ved å bryte ned lignin og cellulose i falne greiner og stokker. Noen arter i denne gruppen har vist seg å produsere unike forbindelser med potensielle medisinske egenskaper.
