Cap 3-10 cm across, rounded-conical or convex at first, then becoming broadly convex, broadly bell-shaped, or nearly flat; honey yellow, becoming pale brownish or nearly white with age; surface smooth; adorned with white veil remnants at the margin.
Flesh
Flesh very thin, fragile, brownish to whitish. Odour and taste not distinctive.
