Fruiting body medium sized to large, 3-15 cm; irregular to spindle-shaped knot-like. Flesh tough, brown to black. Odour and taste not distinctive.
Habit & Habitat
The species is parasitic; and it forms a growth on twigs and branches of infected trees.
