Fruiting Body

Fruiting body medium sized. Cap 2.5-13 cm across, hemispherical at first, expanding to nearly flat; whitish, pale grey-brown; surface covered with flat feathery scales (more rarely cream and non-scaly). Fruiting body medium sized. Odour and taste not distinctive.
