Description

Thelidium er en slægt af lav som primært vokser på klipper og jord. Disse lav danner ofte tynde, skorpe-lignende vækster på deres substrater. Nogle arter inden for thelidium kan findes i både ferskvands- og havmiljøer, hvilket gør dem unikke blandt lav. De har typisk små, mørke perithecier (frugtlegemer) indlejret i deres thallus, som er lavets hovedkrop.
