Description

Solorina er en unik gruppe laver kendt for deres interessante udseende og tilpasningsstrategier. De vokser ofte i kolde, bjergrige områder og danner grønbrune lapper, der kan krølle indad og ligne en fatning. Disse laver har et særligt symbiotisk forhold til alger, hvilket gør det muligt for dem at fotosyntetisere og trives under barske forhold. Nogle arter i denne gruppe kan endda hjælpe med at overvåge luftkvaliteten, hvilket gør dem værdifulde indikatorer for miljøets tilstand.
