Description

Homophron er en fascinerende gruppe af svampe kendt for deres sarte og ofte skrøbelige frugtlegemer. Disse svampe vokser typisk i klynger ved træers baser og spiller en vigtig rolle i næringsstofcyklus og nedbrydning inden for skovøkosystemer. Slægten homophron blev genoplivet i 2015 af Örstadius og Larsson for bedre at klassificere disse unikke svampe, som tidligere var grupperet under Psathyrella.
