Description

Geoglossaceae er en familie af svampe i ordenen Geoglossales, klasse Geoglossomycetes. Disse svampe, bredt kendt som geoglossaceae, har jordiske ascocarps, der typisk er små, mørke og klubformede med en højde på 0,8 til 3 tommer. Ascosporene er typisk lysebrune til mørkebrune og ofte multiseptate. Andre svampearter er kendt for at parasitisere ascocarps.
